Juba Transport Limited requires the services of a qualified person to fill the position of Information Technology Support Officer.

Job Purpose

Responsible for installing and configuring computer systems, diagnosing hardware and software faults and solving technical and applications problems, either over the phone or in person.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, and computer accessories
  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
  • Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
  • Providing technical support across the company repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
  • Testing new technology

Qualification and Requirements:

  • Not less than 3 years proven prior experience in tech support, desktop support, or a similar role.
  • Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Certification in Microsoft, Linux, or Cisco is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Windows/Linux/Mac OS.
  • Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
