Job specifications/responsibilities will include the following:
- Alignment of brand names and product description in order to create uniformity in descriptions in order for the products to become easily accessible to find for the stores.
- Identify inactive vendors in order for them to not be used by stores for various reasons including (liquidated/No purchases for 12 months/unethical vendors)
- Reviewing and maintaining correct VAT rates for all products in order to comply with SARS regulations as well as to ensure that customers are correctly charged for the products.
- Price Links – Reviewing and ensuring the same brands with different variants, or flavors are price-linked to enable stores to correctly price these products
- Capture list prices from Suppliers or Buyers in order to provide stores with a point of reference and base price so that stores are aware that they should never pay more for this product.
- Pricing is amended according to price adjustments negotiated supplier and buyer. Confirmation of pricing is sent to Supplier to approve in order to ensure correct pricing is captured
- Capturing of Deals from Buyers in order to provide stores with a point of reference and base price so that stores are aware that they should never pay more for this product. Pricing is amended according to price adjustments negotiated between supplier and buyer. Confirmation of pricing is sent to Supplier to approve in order to ensure correct pricing is captured
- All work is to be completed within a 48hr window List.
- Pricing and Deals for Suppliers and buyers in order to receive updated information on pricing for the stores
- Vendor Creation:
- Buyers
- Creditors
- Rebates
- Interaction with ISD in order to develop and maintain
reports - Listing of new vendors and updating of current to ensure all new
fields captured are correct - Products Report (Update and New) ensure all new fields that are
captured are correctly - List Price Report: to confirm what we did capture was correct
Requirements:
- Grade 12/GCSE Certificate or Equivalent with maths and Accounting
- Exceptional Communication both written and spoken
- Project management
- Content development
- Creative approach to work
- Ability to work without supervision
- Excellent Time Management Skills.
