KEDA would like to recruit 1 x Heavy Equipment Repair Technician for its new operations in the Lusaka Multi-Facility Economic Zone (LMFEZ).

Number of Vacancies: 1

REPORT TO: Site Engineer

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY

Candidate should be able to repair and service machinery with expert care.

Main Accountability

  • Inspecting trucks, cranes, bulldozers and other heavy equipment for proper performance.
  • Adjusting equipment and replacing faulty parts.
  • Recommend and Repairing damaged equipment parts.
  • Diagnose faults
  • Cleaning, lubricating, and conducting routine services on heavy-duty vehicles and machinery.
  • Reporting damaged or faulty equipment to management.
  • Performing major repair work when necessary.

Required Qualifications

  • Full Grade 12 certificate
  • Advanced Certificate Heavy Equipment Repair Technician.
  • Proven work experience as a Diesel or Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
  • Must be physically fit
  • Must have knowledge of diesel engines and construction equipment.
  • Ability to work after-hours if required.

  • Must be a Lusaka Resident
