Position: Sales & Marketing Executive

With the skills to maintain existing business with current clients, grow business relationships with current clients and assist in bringing new clients on board. The Sales and Marketing Executive will help our clients to better understand the full potential of our products and act as a liaison between the client and customer service. The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing marketing activities of the company, i.e from creating a market for a new service till it is sold in the market and collaborating with different workgroups and departments to improve customer support and enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities Includes:

• Research the client’s background and business needs
• Build trust with the client by demonstrating knowledge of the client’s needs and an ability to creatively solve marketing problems
• Present a broad spectrum of advertising options that will meet the client’s needs, often working across several types of media to propose ad packages made up of a variety of types of advertising
• Describe how certain types of advertising will effectively promote products and services
• Recommend optimal sizes, formats, and durations for advertising
• Prepare an official proposal based on the advertisements discussed with the client, including an estimate of the cost of the advertising
• Deliver sales presentation showing the full breadth and future impact of the advertising campaign
• Develop open and effective channels of communication with each client that can be employed by other departments as well.
• Collaborating with the creative team to obtain knowledge of the clients’ requirements
• Conceive and implement concepts, guidelines, and strategies in various creative projects and oversee them to completion
• Lead brainstorming/creative sessions to generate ideas
• Monitoring competitor activity and generating leads for products and services
• Preparing and delivering marketing plans within key objectives
• Working with in-house designers to produce materials of visual impact and within brand guidelines
• Generating and executing marketing campaigns across social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and many more
• Generating reports for digital marketing campaigns using data based analytics tools and also presenting this data in an easy to understand format.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Grade Twelve (12) School certificate (Essential)
• Degree in Marketing/Sales or related field (Preferred)
• Proven experience and successful track record as a sales executive or in a similar role (Essential)
• Experience in the creative process, marketing, and brand development (Essential)
• Excellent working knowledge of software such as Microsoft office
• Exemplary interpersonal and analytical ability
• Strong communication skills required
• Willing and able to travel outside of Lusaka and to other provinces within Zambia to conduct sales and marketing activities
• Must possess a valid Drivers License.
