Kobil Zambia Limited one of the leading Oil Marketing Companies in Zambia with a fast growing retail network and customer base is seeking to employ a suitably qualified, experienced and result-oriented individual to fill the following vacancy:-

Positions: Commercial Sales Executive

A. Key Competence/Qualifications

  • A holder of a Bachelors Degree (Marketing, Business Administration or Engineering from a recognised University) will be an added advantage.
  • Must have a clean driving licence.
  • Must have Marketing and Sales experience of not less than 2 years preferably in the oil marketing industry.
  • Must have organisational skills and ability to manage a sales territory.
  • Must have ability to educate customers on various aspects pertaining to product knowledge.
  • Must have good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be able to work with minimum supervision, a self motivator with excellent initiative.

B. Main Duties

  • To maintain and develop profitable sales within the allotted territory in accordance with pre-determined marketing policies in the Commercial functions.
  • Ensure sales of company products and services by adherence to company standards.
  • Ensures overall efficient territory management by promptly attending to all correspondence queries and reports.
  • Controls overall credit position in accordance with the plan for the Area by customer.
  • Attends to other functions not covered above by: co-ordinating supplies, liaising maintenance jobs, attends Commercial meetings, and undertakes other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
  • To service commercial accounts to ensure good relations are maintained.
