KSM management Consultants,is a logistics and transport international company is looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to oversee all the financial aspect of the company’s strategy.

Job Summary

To manage the financial aspects of the Zambian operation so as to meet and exceed the company’s established objectives.

Main Responsibilities

  •  Report to the Group FD on all financial and operation aspects
  •  Prepare to travel into Africa for example Congo
  •  Accurately prepare the weekly, monthly and annual accounts
  •  Do the budget with the other directors/managers and control the budget on a daily basis
  •  Control over the management, work in Capital and Interest Bearing Debt on a daily basis
  •  Liaise with the auditors, preparation of the financial statement
  •  Must have good knowledge of Reserve Bank requirements
  •  Review of accounts and investigation of variances
  •  Capital expenditure – evaluation and preparation of submission
  •  Insurance risk management
  •  Close involvement in commercial negotiations with customers
  •  Ensuring that the regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met

Qualifications

  •  4 – 5 years’ experience in a Senior Management position
  •  CIMA/ Bachelors in Accounting/ ACCA
  •  Masters in Finance/ Economics/ Business Administration
  •  Experience in Agriculture is an added advantage
