Job Title: Mathematics & Computer Studies Teacher

Lake Road PTA School is run by parents on behalf of the Ministry of Education. The School offers both primary and secondary school education. A Board of Governors is in place to ensure that the school pursues her vision, mission and realises her shared values.

The Board of Governors is therefore pleased to invite applications for the position of Mathematics and Computer Studies Teacher for the Secondary who will be capable to pursue the vision, drive the mission of the school and inculcate the set values in the school community. MATHEMATICS & COMPUTER STUDIES TEACHER

The position will report to The Head of Mathematics and Computer Studies

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Full Grade 12 Certificate
  • Degree with Education
  • Knowledge and experience of two years in teaching Mathematics and Computer Studies.
  • Three Traceable referees

JOB SPECIFICATION

Duties will include, among others:

  • To prepare comprehensive records of work for all lessons given
  • Prepare adequately interpret the ICT Syllabus given by the examination bodies
  • Draw up the schemes of work for both ICT and Mathematics
  • Provide technical support to other teachers in matters related to all ICT activities
  • Provide students with the necessary resources and materials to help them mathematics.
  • Design teaching materials to sustain students’ interest in the subjects
