EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

Zambia International Trade Fair (ZITF) a Company owned by the Government Republic of Zambia (GRZ) through the Industrial Development Corporation is looking for a talented, energetic, enthusiastic and suitably qualified person for the Position of Security Guard. ZITF based in Ndola on the Copper belt province provides on an annual international platform for Industrial, Commercial Agriculture, and General Exhibitions.

SECURITY GUARD (2)

Purpose of the Job

To provide security services to ZITF ensuring that ZITF assets are secure from pilferage and malicious damage

PRINCIPAL DUTIES

  • Guards the ZITF Grounds and properties in the show grounds.
  • Guards the gates and inspects all incoming and outgoing visitors, Employee reporting and knocking off time and motor vehicles and ensure they are not illegally in possession of ZITF property.
  • Patrols Trade Fair grounds during day and night to ensure the safety of ZITF Properties.
  • Apprehends and report to superior or state police anyone found with ZITF property illegally.
  • Works with or in-conjunction with Zambia Police and security firms contracted by ZITF to Mann gates/streets during show time.
  • Reports any suspicious activities at the ZITF premises.
  • Carry out lawful duties assigned by Superior.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Grade 9/12 Certificate
  • Military training/Police Training will an added advantage.
  • Retired Security personnel are encouraged to apply.
  • Minimum 2 years working experience

Terms and Conditions of Employment

Fixed term contract of minimum 2 years tenure based on performance.
