To work, support and lead strategy and projects that primarily focus on growth, innovation, risk and operations in order to generate significant revenues and tap into existing and new markets to improve the business performance of clients as well as maximizing growth for LPCL. The position holder will also manage a team of Associates and will be required to stand-in for the Manager.

Major functions or Key Result Areas:

  • Strategy formulation, implementation and monitoring;
  • Manage, and deliver on, client projects in line with LPCL methodologies and within agreed timelines;
  • Manage the budget of the unit;
  • Contribute effectively to business development, marketing and sales activities;
  • Develop, implement and monitor internal business processes for the unit;
  • Participate in, and contribute effectively to, LPCL knowledge seeking initiatives and researches;
  • Manage team performance and
    Participate in Corporate Social Initiatives.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR or within a Business discipline with membership to the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management;
  • Grade Twelve (12) Certificate with a minimum of five credits (with Mathematics and English);
  • At least 5 years of HR experience (as Generalist, Business Partner or any similar capacity);
  • Experience in consulting is an added advantage;
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of General Management Consulting including Human Resource Consulting;
  • Ability to convert strategic goals and objectives into implementable plans and programs;
  • Ability to ensure integration of planning and work with cross-discipline teams to maximize results;
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks and work on multiple projects/tasks in a fast-paced environment without direct supervision;
  • Strong financial acumen and its application;
  • Critical thinker but also executes on details with accuracy;
  • Outstanding analytical, research and presentation skills;
  • Computer literate with high proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;
  • Ability to work well under pressure and act in utmost confidentiality with sensitive leadership information;
  • Excellent interpersonal and team building skills;
  • Able to foster a cohesive and effective work environment and
  • Good customer service skills with a service-oriented mindset.
