Lease of two houses in Nkana east Kitwe

Background

SOS Children’s Villages Zambia has set aside funds to be used towards finance for the leasing of two houses in the Nkana east Kitwe area on a one-year renewable contract.

Instructions

Property owners or registered estate agents are now invited to participate in this open tender by following the instructions below;

1) This tender is open to all potential property owners or registered estate agents with two houses
2) There is no charge applicable in participating in this tender
3) The closing date and time of submitting fully costed quotations/proposal shall be Wednesday 19th February 2020 before 14:00
4) Tender opening shall take place immediately after closing receipt of quotations/proposals and the opening shall take place at National Office in PHI via the procurement office. BIDDERS WHO WISH TO ATTEND BID OPENING SHOULD DO SO BUT IT IS NOT MANDATORY.
5) No physical submission of quotations will be allowed. Submission of quotations shall only be via the following email address; [email protected] this is so because we would like to track the time of submission in the email. NO LATE SUBMISSION SHALL BE ACCEPTED
6) SOS will not allow advance payment to finance your proposal. But may agree to be making monthly rental payments for each start of the month.
7) The requirements to be used for assessing your quotation shall be as follows
a. Proof of property ownership or consent from property owner that you are authorized to conduct leasing on their behalf
b. Tax clearance from ZRA valid up to December 2020 (for withholding tax purposes on rentals)
c. For estate agents: business registration or registration with ZIEA, tax clearance
8) The details of the two houses needed are as follows;
a. The house should be situated in Nkana east Kitwe for easy access by the targeted youths
b. The two houses should have two bedrooms, a neat toilet, bathroom, living room, and a kitchen
c. It should be properly fenced, preferably wall fence
e. Water must be running without interruption or should have a sitting borehole
Quotation Submission

Note that SOS may conduct a physical inspection on the most promising house during the selection process.

Your fully costed and supported quotation with requested documents must be submitted not later than Wednesday 19th February 2020 at 14:00hrs and should be submitted to the following address [email protected]
