Evelyn Hone College of applied Arts and Commerce is the largest College in Zambia. The College Offers Academic and Professional Training in various disciplines such as Business and Management, Information technology and Communication, Health Sciences, laboratory Sciences, Art and Music, Communication Skills and Library Studies, Journalism and Printing, office management. We are a total package. Our Courses are available to school leavers, workers and Companies or Government Institutions who may want to train their employees.

Responsibilities 

  • Undertakes the delivery of lectures in accordance with curricula in order to impart knowelege to students
  • Undertakes students assessment, research supervision, industral attachment assessment and maintenance of performance records in order to determine effectiveness of the level of lecturing
  • Prepares schemes of work and lessons plans in order to ensure efficient delivery of lectures
  • Prepares teaching aids and lecture material in order to improve the effectiveness of lectures
  • Undertakes the development and review of appropriate syllabi in order to facilitate the delivery of the curricula
  • Undertakes research and consultancy in accounting in order to contribute to the body of knowledge and promote best practice

Qualifications

  • Bachelors of Science in Accounting, a Masters degree will be an added advantage
  • Qualification in Teaching methodology and accreditation to TEVETA will be an added advantage
  • Two years work experience in the Accounting practice at a similar position
  • Computer literacy ( word, excel, powerpoint packages)
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • A team player, good organiser, honest and highly professional
