Legal Advisor Job Available at Sales Box – April 2017

We’re a startup building a new shopping experience that connects suppliers and buyers in a transparent and efficient way

We are looking for talented Legal Advisor to support our rapidly growing and evolving products and services. You will serve as the primary legal advisor responsible for counseling the business on a broad range of commercial and regulatory matters and structuring, drafting and negotiating commercial transactions. You will work directly with the business, serving as lead counsel on strategic deals, providing day-to-day advice, resolving issues that arise in existing commercial relationships and handling pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries.

Principal duties include:

Contract structuring, drafting and negotiating, patent registration, licensing, marketing and other commercial agreements and providing ongoing legal counseling in a wide range of legal areas, including intellectual property, digital media, labor matters and regulatory compliance.

Minimum Requirements include:

• A Diploma in Law
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Law will be an added advantage
• A minimum of 2 years working experience with a law firm or in the banking sector
• Good knowledge of the Companies Act and Company Secretarial issues
• Strong Written and Oral Communication skills
• High level of initiative and self-organization and reliability
• Ability and willingness to work under stressful conditions
• High level of integrity
