The Legal Aid Board (LAB) is a statutory body established by the Legal Aid (Amendment)Act of 2005, mandated with the provision of legal aid (both in criminal and civil matters) to persons whose means are not adequate to engage a private legal practitioner to be able to access justice and legal representation.
In its continued efforts to fulfill its statutory mandate, the Board now seeks to appoint dynamic and pro-active persons to be based at Lusaka office as:

LEGAL AID ASSISTANT- MONITORING AND EVALUATION (1)

JOB PURPOSE

To assist in the implementation and monitoring of the National Legal Aid Policy, Strategic Plan and other matters related to the operations of the Legal Aid Board.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

a) Degree or Diploma in Project Management or other related field
b) At least 3 years of work experience in his/her profession
c) Coordination and organizational skills
d) Networking and stakeholder engagement competencies
e) Reporting writing skills
