Job Description

COFUND Investment Limited, a micro-lending institution, requires suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill up the position of Loan (Recovery) Officer.

Qualifications

• Must have legal training, preferably at the level of Legal Assistant
• Degree in law or any other related field.
• Good understanding of credit operations, rules/regulations, and credit risk management.
• Good sales, problem-solving and negotiation skills,
• Strong interpersonal and convincing skills.
• Must have the ability to persuade delinquent clients to repay the debt.
• Not less than 3 years work experience.

Responsibilities

• The primary responsibility of loan recoveries
• Ensuring adherence to the set credit policies and procedures.
• Making alerts, follow-ups and recoveries on defaulted loans.
• Ensuring that legal contract documents are in place.
