Logistics Officer Wanted at Hybrid Poultry Farm – Deadline 25 August 2017

Hybrid Poultry Farm invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of:

Responsibilities

• Preparation of gate passes, giving assignments to drivers, weighing of vehicles at weighbridge, filling up of vehicles at fuel pump, reporting of vehicle faults and filing of job cards
• Monitoring the Verino cropping programs, ensuring that all vehicle faults are reported on time and all trucks have diesel
• To update the attendance register for drivers and prepare the wage sheets on the 15th of every month. To monitor the drivers’ performance and make recommendations
• To ensure that every vehicle that goes out has an approved gate pass, and prepare gate passes for the following day before 16:30 hours
• Weighing of Hybrid and hired trucks coming and going out of the premises and making sure that there are no variations between Invoices/ Delivery notes etc with actual weights
• To make sure that all drivers follow the HPF disciplinary and code of ethics and the drivers’ code of conduct
• Receiving information about vehicle faults and report to relevant authority
• To perform any other duties assigned by management

Qualifications

• Diploma in Logistics or Equivalent professional qualification is essential
• Computer literate
• Grade 12 certificate
• Good communicator
• Proven references a must
