Position: Marketing & Business Development Officer
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Liase with the Marketing and Business Development Manager to develop weekly and monthly action plans with regard to client mobilization and individual performance goals.
- Conduct market studies on the Copperbelt and North-Western provinces by maintaining a good knowledge of his/her assigned market area, as well as research and develop new business opportunities within the assigned geographical zone.
- Responsible for marketing all of the LOLC Finance Zambia products and services to potential clients using promotional tools and mechanisms approved by management.
- Manage risk through the analysis of each client’s/group’s payment capacity and evaluate the credit risk of potential clients. Actively work on maintaining clients’ repayment willingness and
business continuity. - Grow the Savings and Credit portfolio in accordance with LOLC Finance Zambia business development set targets.
- Recruit, train, motivate and manage sales teams to achieve set sales targets.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Banking and Finance, Business Administration, or any other relevant Business Related qualification
- At least two (2) years’ work experience in a Sales and Marketing role on the Copperbelt/North Western Province
- Experience in a microfinance institution will be an added advantage.
