Lusaka AgroTech Institute Limited (LATI) is a newly established institute which was registered in September 2018 in order to help the farming community improve on their productivity by offering them practical skills development training and consultancy services. LATI is a registered private limited training institution, which is an active player in the agricultural development of Zambia through the provision of quality training and consultancy services in agribusiness, cooperatives, agriculture extension, agricultural processing, value addition, post-harvest technology, rural development and associated sectors of the economy. The company aims at equipping individuals with the practical skills and abilities to successfully and sustainably perform activities or tasks in crop production, animal husbandry, forestry, fisheries, processing, marketing, distribution, and/or trading of agricultural products.

LATI seek the services of Five (5) interns capable of performing the following tasks:

Ability to translate solutions into effective business proposals
Ability to analyze various business products and services
Ability to coordinate proposal development
Ability to Apply layout and other desktop publishing skills
Ability to Edit content for clarification and consistency
Ability to Adhere to proposal schedule deadlines
Ability to Understand proposal databases
Ability to write grant applications for state, federal and private organization funding
Ability to Plan a strategic development for programs and funding

Qualification:

A minimum Certificate/Diploma in Journalism, Project Management, Agricultural Business Management, Community Development, Public Administration, Public Relations Officer or any other relevant qualification with a bias to Agriculture and Community Development.Minimum of 1-year experience in grant writing, prospect research, general fundraising or a minimum of 2 years comparable and transferable skills acquired in a professional setting

Remunerations:
