Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the following positions at Lusaka Apex Medical University (LAMU).

CHIEF INTERNAL AUDITOR

Major Duties and Responsibilities will include:

  1. Develop and implement annual audit plans.
  2. Identify financial and process risks across all sections of the company.
  3. Supervise professional audit staff
  4. Oversee investigations of financial misconduct, fraud and negligence
  5. Evaluate and assess new financial services and processes

 

Essential Qualifications for the Position:

  1. Full ZICA/ACCA/CIMA or its equivalent
  2. Seven years of audit experience in a senior position.
  3. Strong oral and written communication skills;
  4. Must demonstrate the highest level of integrity and honesty
  5. A Masters degree in Accounting or related field will be an added advantage
  6. Audit Experience in a higher institute of learning will be an added advantage
  7. Must be member of ZICA
