Job Title: Security Guard

Macoil Logistics is a premier Transport and Logistics provider based in Lusaka, Zambia and with representative offices in Zimbabwe and South Africa. Macoil Logistics operates routes in the SADC region.

Macoil Logistics Zambia is currently looking for professional, self -motivated security guards to join our  team.candidates will be expected to maintain high visibility and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions.

Macoil Logistics Zambia operates in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and proactive engagement is critical to a successful consignment delivery.

SECURITY GUARDS ROLE

successful candidates will be required to follow all procedures and legal regulations relevant to the role including all other regulations required by the company relating to Health, Safety , Security, and Environment.

Successful candidates will be required to :

• Protect the company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.
• Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property.
• Apprehend criminals and evict violators.
• Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences.
• Report in detail any suspicious incidents.
• Regular patrolling of building and perimeter.
• Monitor and control access at the building entrances and vehicle gate.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 2 years of work experience as a security guard or a relevant position.
• A trained security officer with a diploma or better.
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols.
• surveillance skills and detail orientation.
• integrity and professionalism.
• Grade 12 certificate.
