Maintenance Officer: Progress Medical Centre (Hospital)

Main Purpose of the Job

To carry out any required Electrical and Plumbing work to the required standard.

Main Responsibilities

• carry out electrical work when and as directed, including the testing and repair of all electrical equipment.
• maintain an awareness of all regulations and health and safety rules applying to electrical and Plumbing work to ensure safe working practices are observed.
• Carry out plumbing and drainage work as required.
• Repair and upgrading of existing services and installation of minor works.
• Prepare lists of materials required for the works in consultation with the Procurement Officer.
• Test work carried out to ensure effective operation.
• Maintain records of work carried out.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required

• Relevant craft certificate
• at least 3 years of work experience, experience in a Hospital setup will be an added advantage.
• sustain the ability of electrical and Plumbing Fault finding.
