We are inviting applications to fill the following vacant position:

MAINTENANCE PLANNER

CONTRACT: PERMANENT

Reporting to the Maintenance Engineer, the successful candidate will be accountable for the following:

• Maintaining a safe, healthy and risk-free working environment
• Working in teams
• Leading spares management
• Planning maintenance and projects
• Interfacing with production planning
• Developing and implementing an asset care plan
• Facilitating team problem solving
• Maintaining maintenance system integrity
• Drive maturity in world-class manufacturing principles and practices

This job is particularly suitable for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements:

• Grade 12 Certificate
• Mechanical or Electrical technician
• 5 years’ experience as a mechanical or electrical artisan on high-speed packing lines
• Member of Engineering Institute of Zambia
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Strong influencing ability
• Good understanding of maintenance systems and world-class manufacturing
• Good knowledge of brewing and packaging production processes and technologies
