Marketing Team Leader job in Zambia

The marketing team leader is a management role with the overall responsibility of monitoring, investigating, researching and analysing market, sales channel and product data, to flag performance or a lack thereof, to identify opportunities and formally propose and on approval initiate and roll out marketing strategies and initiatives that will catalyse roll out speed, reduce time to market dominance and convert existing and new consumers to loyal customers of Yendelela, Bajaj motor bikes, Bajaj motor rickshaws and their genuine parts.
The role involves managing the implementation of the marketing policy of positioning Bajaj as premier and durable brand and plans of Yendelela as a world standard and market leading motor rickshaw assembler, distributor and after sales service and support provider.
Minimum education:
- Degree in any subject
Minimum experience:
- Three years full time experience gained within the last five year at middle management
- Senior sales representative or client relationship officer in a tangible product sales environment with a record of success in sales linking to strategic objectives
Leadership skills:
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication and public relations skills in dealing with individuals and groups at all levels with the ability to assimilate and analyse information quickly and accurately and to think strategically, formulate decisions and made recommendations.
Required skills:
- Highly numerate with basic financial literacy
- Brand survey and mapping ability
- MS excel and MS Power point data manipulation skills
- Proven social Media marketing expertise

Remuneration: Fixed component: K15-18,000 gross Variable: Monthly or quarterly commissions on sales and lead generation Performance: Annual performance bonus of up to 8% of gross salary based on achievement of performance management objectives
