The LUSAKA APEX MEDICAL UNIVERSITY (LAMIJ) is a privately owned University, registered by the Ministry of Higher Education under the Higher Education Authority ACT No. 4 of 2013 to provide Higher Education in Medical Education. LAMU is regulated by the Health Professions Council of Zambia (HPCZ), General Nursing Council (GNC), Technical Education, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training Authority (TEVETA). Lusaka Apex Medical University is, therefore, looking for a mature, proactive, highly motivated and result oriented Zambian with high degree of credibility to fill the position of:

FACULTY OF NURSING AND MIDWIFERY

1) LECTURER (1)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Master of Science in Mental Health Nursing
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Five (O) Levels including Mathematics and English
• Five (5) years’ experience teaching at the University
• Valid Nurses practicing Licence

(2) CLINICAL INSTRUCTORS (3)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Master of science in Clinical Nursing
• Bsc in Nursing
• Five (O) Levels including Mathematics and English
• Three (3) years’ experience teaching at the University
• Valid Nurses practicing Licence

(3) NURSE TUTORS (10)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Five (O) Levels including Mathematics and English
• Three (3) years’ experience teaching at the University
• Valid Nurses practicing Licence

NURSE CLINICAL INSTRUCTORS (10)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Diploma in Nursing/ Nursing with Midwifery/Nursing with operational Theatre Nursing
• Advanced Diploma in clinical teaching will be added advantage
• Five (O) Levels including Mathematics and English
• Three (3) years’ experience teaching at the University
• Valid Nurses practicing Licence
