Job Description

MARKETING AND SALES OFFICER

Duties:

  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth for new Clients and Supplementary Products and Services sales.
  • Plan advertising and promotional campaigns for products and services on a variety of media and events.
  • Develop and implement annual company sales and marketing plan and regularly update management on progress.
  • Develop services and product pricing through research and come up with services and products that suit and meet current market and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with Site Mangers and other staff to explore Business opportunities with Existing and New Clients
  • Collaborate with the responsible managers in preparing budgets and monitoring and ensure that all marketing activities are cost effective.
  • Ensure well monitored tender and supplier registration participations and collection of all necessary tender documentation for successful submission.
  • Increase sales through the identification and cultivation on new customers.
  • Ensure that Customer quotations ate timely prepared
  • Work closely with Purchasing to ensure that products and services are delivered as requested by Clients.
  • Timely preparation of monthly sales and marketing reports.

Qualifications

  1. Grade 12 Certificate with 5 O’ Levels
  2. Minimum Diploma in Marketing or equivalent
  3. At least 3 years’ of proven experience in a relevant position.
  4. Conversant with digital and social media marketing
  5. Certified Member of the Zambia Institute of Marketing
  6. Valid Driver’s license

  • Must have proficient computer knowledge
  • Must have good accounting knowledge
  • Must be highly organized and neat
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the Job and initiative
