It was established to undertake transformative livestock investments that include sustainable agricultural activities that contribute to social and economic development of the rural communities,  and the national economy by embracing the government policy of agricultural diversification. The Company is embarking on an expansion of its livestock operations and seeks to employ eligible and suitably qualified Zambian candidates for the following positions.

ASSISTANT LIVESTOCK OFFICERS – ( x12)

Role Overview

Reporting to the Livestock Officer. The MAL Assistant Livestock Officers will support the Livestock Officer in ensuring that the operations of the ranch are efficient.

Responsibilities

• Daily management of Livestock including assessing, taking care of, and overseeing all the needs of the cattle and goat herd, feeding, grazing, calving (tagging, weighing, vaccinating. and record keeping).
• Undertaking other tasks related to ranch operations, including livestock, equipment, and facilities.
• Maintaining order and cleanliness of the ranch (bunk lines, pens, fences, equipment, tools, and shop)

Minimum Qualifications

• Certificate in Livestock Production.
• 3 years of practical experience in a large cattle/goat operation.
• Should be honest and have integrity.
• Should be Computer Literate.
