Media Projects Officer (1)
Reporting to the Marketing & Projects Manager
Job purpose
To coordinate activities and functions of the project to ensure that the specified project goals and objectives are accomplished in accordance with established priorities, timelines, funding limitations and other specifications. .

Duties & Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities of a ZAMCOM Media Projects Officer include the following, among others;
• Assume an overall responsibility of coordinating projects
• Coordination of project activities with inter-related activities of other ZAMCOM programs, departments to ensure optimum efficiency and compliance with appropriate policies, procedures and specifications
• Develop and schedule project periodic work plans in accordance with the overall project plan of action
• Assist in the production of training materials for journalists and other partners in cooperation with trainers
• Engage journalists and other actors in special trainings
• Monitor program expenditures ensuring that budget allocation are not overspent
• Prepare periodic reports, and records on project activities, progress, status or other special reports
• Monitoring and evaluation of the projects
• Develop, organize and facilitate workshops, meetings or conferences
• Coordinate logistics, scheduling and participant communications
• Regularly appraise ZAMCOM team members on activities or work
• Conceptualize, develop and implement other projects in conjunction with relevant ZAMCOM Departments

QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass communications with a minimum of at least three (3) years’ experience in a reputable organization.
