The Company seeks the services of SECTIONAL QUALITY SYSTEMS ADVISOR

Reporting to the Senior Sectional Quality Systems Advisor, the successful candidate will carry out planned audits to monitor the performance of the departmental Quality Management Systems for management action and promote awareness of the company’s Quality Management System requirements.

Duties will among others, include:

  • Conduct formal, informal and process improvement audits.
  • Monitoring and ensuring effective compliance with requirements of ISO 9001 Quality Management System standard for certified departments through weekly nonconformity closure status reports.
  • Ensure timely production of audit reports as well as verification of effective and timely closures of nonconformities.
  • Monitor calibration/verification of critical monitoring and measuring equipment for certified departments.
  • Monitor legal compliance of End-User identified critical equipment and provide data for management action.
  • Assist operating departments to develop and implement documents in line with the requirements of the Company’s
  • Business Document Control System.
  • Assist Departmental Quality Assurance Representatives with appropriate training needs to make them more effective in their roles.

To be considered for this position, one should meet the following minimum requirements:

Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering Science and/or Chemistry from a recognized University

Lead Auditor training/certificate

Internal Auditor training/certificate

Minimum 3 years work experience in a reputable company

Must have solid knowledge and practical application of quality management system principles to promote effective quality awareness and implementation of such principles within an organization.

Must be able to effectively monitor the performance of departmental Quality Management Systems 8. Must be able to assist with development of departmental documents
