The Company seeks the services of the following:
Job Title: Mine Manager
Job purpose
To provide technical, administrative and financial guidance and control mining operations in order to achieve production targets safely and in conformity with statutory regulations and in line with Company requirements.
Duties include:
- Ensure the principles of SAFEMINE are applied and adhered to
- Plan, organise, monitor and control mining operations
- Ensure that production targets are achieved economically, safely and in accordance with mining, explosives and domestic regulations
- Plan and control budget expenditure and resource utilisation to ensure that short, medium and long term plans for production, capital investment and labour requirements are formulated
Minimum requirements
- Degree in Mining Engineering
- Fifteen years’ experience in Mining, eight years should be at senior management level
- Valid EIZ and ERB member
