Position: Devices Analysts

To participate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of new and existing products and services and segments ensuring profitability and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with developing business growth plans and roadmap for device products and support the product and services planning and Forecasting process by providing information on usage and targets based on trends and technological advancements
  • Drive best practice, continuous improvement and innovation at the process and procedure level within the Devices portfolio, consider local conditions and provide analysis and insights around Devices.
  • Construct, implement and fine-tune methods, processes, and systems to enhance effectiveness and meet organizational goals, considering the impact of solutions on other areas of the business, as well as the interdependence of units
  • Work with internal business stakeholders and as well as Brand/Segment Marketing teams in the development and execution of Devices plans.
  • Build and maintain sustainable and profitable relationships with all stakeholders – internal & external.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of telecoms architecture and industry trends
  • Prepare concept documentation, marketing plans and manage the implementation of plans and projects
  • Participate in developing new Device related product services and technologies
  • Provide input into advertising management and communication strategies around Device products
  • Develop processes to facilitate optimal functioning of Device products
  • Participate in project lifecycle from new product research, modeling, implementation, and ongoing product evaluation
  • Present ideas on product performance and fit to market requirements
  • Facilitate accurate data analysis and reporting on performance updates, project deliverables, quality, cost, time, etc.
  • Put contingency plans in place to prevent delays and enhance the customer experience
  • Drive continuous improvements as an important element of service delivery
  • Provides regular and ad hoc analysis and reports

Candidate Requirements

  • Business, Commerce, Marketing, IT, /Engineering Degree
  • Grade 12 Certificate (5 credits or better in English & Maths with any other 3 subjects)
  • At least 3 years experience of relationship management, new business and new product development, product management, financial services, consumer electronics, marketing and/or Customer care
  • At least 1-year experience in a dynamic and fast-moving industry
