KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The key responsibilities for this role include but not limited to the following:

• Engage the Mobile Financial Services (MFS) team and support department to develop and formulate a strategy in line with the overarching business goals;
• Ensure effective implementation of the strategy by means of providing direction, support, technical and commercial frameworks, models, roadmaps, partners and products;
• Identify and assess new opportunities for MTN in the FinTech space, define and implement MTN MFS Product roadmap;
• Identify and develop new MFS products and services, ensure the commercial and technology framework is delivered to facilitate implementation;
• Partnership establishment, deployment and management;
• Roll out digital experience of MFS and Lead the MFS demand management framework and prepare proposals on change initiatives;
• Manage and resolve issues that will result in severe time, scope, productivity, and cost or resource impact
• Ensure key risks are identified, issues and dependencies and set mitigation actions and
• Report monthly to the MFS Executive relating to progress made in accordance with the delivery of MFS roadmap from both project, implementation and performances perspectives;
• Actively contribute and formulate overall MFS Budget and business plan;

Candidate Requirements

• First degree in Marketing/Sales, Business Administration or related area of study;
• Mnimum of 4 years tertiary qualification;
• Minimum 5 years of significant experience in Mobile Financial Service;
• Significant experiences in driving innovation, change and new business with a multinational;
• Relevant senior management experience with a regional or global organization;
• Track record in implementing FinTech in emerging markets;
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams
