Mwaneli Investment Limited is a privately owned construction and development consultancy company based in Lusaka. The Company seeks to employ suitably qualified, highly motivated and goal-oriented professionals to fill the following vacant positions:

Engineer x 1
Artisan Engineer x 1

Job Purpose

The incumbent persons will be expected to oversee the successful implementation of projects related to construction and roadworks in various districts in Zambia.

1. Engineer

Job Accountabilities

• Ensure projects are implemented successfully by ensuring that BOQs and other specifications are being adhered to.
• Contribute to preparation of bidding documents in consultation with the Director
• Participate in team meetings and support the lead Civil Engineer in logistics and procurement
• Demonstrate competence in roadworks and construction of culverts.
• Supervise workers in construction of culverts and related works

Qualifications and Experience:

• Full Grade 12 Certificate with at least five (05) credits including Mathematics and English
• Diploma in Civil/Mechanical Engineering from a reputable organisation
• Post Graduate qualification in Project Management will be an added advantage
• At least three (05) years’ relevant work experience in construction and roadworks
• Must be a paid-up member of the Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ)

Additional competencies:

• Must be innovative and creative
• Able to work with minimum supervision
• Conversant with the MS Office Suite

2. Artisan Engineer

Job Accountabilities

• Ensure projects are implemented successfully by ensuring that BOQs and other specifications are being adhered to.
• Contribute to preparation of bidding documents in consultation with the Director
• Participate in team meetings and support the lead Civil Engineer and Engineer in logistics and procurement
• Demonstrate hands on experience in roadworks and construction of culverts.
• Demonstrate ability to deliver all construction works within agreed timeframes

Qualifications and Experience:

• Full Grade 12 Certificate with at least five (05) credits including Mathematics and English
• Artisan Certificate in Civil/Mechanical Engineering from a reputable organization
• At least three (05) years’ relevant work experience in construction and roadworks

Additional competencies:

• Must be innovative and creative
• Able to work with minimum supervision
