POSITION 1. SALES MANAGER GENERAL TRADE (LUSAKA)
Reports To:
The Sales Manager will report to the Business Head
Job Overview
Responsible for General Trade sales potential, crafting sales plans, and justifying those to plans to Senior Management.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Achieve growth and Achieve sales targets set by Management
- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence
- Own objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
- Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
- Willingness to Travel countrywide
- Any Other duties as assigned by Senior Management
Skills and requirements
- BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field
- Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets for a minimum of 3 -4 years of sales management experience
- Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Strong business sense and industry expertise
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
POSITION 2. ASSISTANT MILL MANAGER (KABWE)
Reports To:
The Assistant Mill Manager will report to the Business Head and Senior Production Manager
Job Overview:
The key responsibilities of the Mill Manager: Oversee all aspects of production including; operational performance, quality assurance, production planning, and labor management. Liaise with suppliers and distributors ensuring that the mill can provide customers with products at all times.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Overseeing the production process, drawing up a production schedule
- Responsible for production output to meet required targets within timelines set by Senior Management
- Making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality and production is cost-effective
- Monitoring the implementation of the HACCP, ISO and management systems to ensure total compliance
- Setting the quality standards, standard operating procedures (SOP), and defining the Key Performance areas (KPI) at the same time ensuring that Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are been under taken at all time
- Responsible for all onsite mill operations, planning, and production of all customers’ orders ensuring timely delivery.
- Managing, training, and developing all members of the production and operations teams.
- Accurate stock control of all raw materials and finished products on site.
- Health and Safety and Environmental Management on site.
- Ensuring mill hygiene, mill quality, and environmental standards are met, company procedures, statutory regulations, and customer requirements.
- Ensure the required levels of mill/site maintenance and statutory regulations are met.
- Contributing to strategy and business improvement.
- Any other duties assigned by Senior Management
Qualifications and skills requirements
- Degree in Production Management or related field
- 2 – 3 years of experience in the milling industry at Management level
- Computer literate and proficiency in Microsoft word and excel

POSITION 3. MANAGER FEED DEPARTMENT (KABWE)
Reports To:
The Mill Manager will report to the Business Head
Job Overview:
The key responsibilities of the Feed Department Manager: Oversee all aspects of feed production including; operational performance, quality assurance, production planning, and labor management. Liaise with suppliers and distributors ensuring the organization can provide customers with products at all times. He/she will be responsible for Managing Farms and providing technical know-how
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Overseeing the feed production process, drawing up a production schedule
- Ensuring that production is cost-effective.
- Making sure that feed is produced to set targets and timelines by Senior Management and ensuring the feed produced meets the required standard
- Working out the human and material resources needed.
- Monitoring the feed production processes and adjusting schedules as needed.
- Responsible for all onsite feed production operations, planning, and production of all customers’ orders ensuring timely delivery.
- Continued compliance with health and safety environmental law and policies
- Managing, training, and developing all members of the production and operations teams.
- Demonstrate leadership and motivation together with the creation of a team that accepts responsibility and ownership
- Maintains Hygiene Standards and the implementation of all feed production procedure
- Will be responsible for Sales for the feed sector
- Any other duties assigned by Senior Management
Qualifications:
- Degree in, Agriculture. Animal Science, Veterinarian studies or a related field
- Experience in livestock farming will be an added advantage
- 2 – 3 years of experience in a similar role

POSITION 4. QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER (LUSAKA)
The quality assurance Manager will report to the Business Head
Job Overview
The Quality Assurance Manager will ensure all products meet the required threshold of acceptability according to Required Standards. He/she will plan, direct and coordinate quality assurance programs and formulate Quality control policies. The Quality Assurance Manager will work to improve the organization’s efficiency and profitability by reducing wastage. He/she is expected to commit to excellence and quality compliance, to keep abreast of internal, external, and international rules and regulations of Manufacturing, selling, and shipping of goods.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Proper collection and analysis on all incoming materials
- Preparing and updating of quality documentations, basing processes on recognized standards such as ISO 9000
- Devising procedures to inspect and report quality issues
- Responsible for the Groups Manufactured products and raw materials ensure they meet the required quality standards.
- Monitoring all operations that affect the quality
- Assure the reliability and consistency of production by checking processes and final output
- Appraise customer requirements and ensure they are satisfied
- Report all defects to the Production Managers to ensure immediate action
- Facilitating proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality data
- Review current standards and policies
- Keep records of quality reports, statistical reviews, and relevant documentation
- Ensure legal standards are met
- Communicate with external quality assurance officers during site inspections
- Any other duties assigned by Management
- Addressing customer concerns regarding the quality
Qualifications and Requirements
- Five years of proven work experience in Quality Management at Senior Level
- Thorough knowledge of methodologies of Quality Assurance and Standards
- Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis and statistics
- BS Degree in Microbiology is a must

POSITION 5. LABORATORY TECHNICIANS X 2
Reports To:
The Laboratory Technician will report to the Quality Assurance Manager
Job Overview:
To effectively and intelligently collect data by use of laboratory equipment under the guidance of the Laboratory technician so that incoming materials can be analyzed, production processes can be monitored (to be within required parameters) and final products can be produced according to laid down specifications.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Proper inspection and analysis of all incoming raw materials
- Informing the Production Manager in case of deviations of incoming samples from the set standards
- Analysis of raw materials through physical checking, document verification, analytical testing as per parameters
- Maintaining laboratory records
- Maintaining Records as per Zambia Bureau of Standards Parameters
- Implementation of all Standard Operating procedures
- Testing for moisture for the finished product.
- Drawing of Samples from the Finished product for testing, if any deviations record action taken to correct the abnormally
- Checking the hygiene of the plant
- Monitoring of infestation in the premises
- Keep the laboratory clean and there should be no unauthorized personnel to use the equipment.
- Maintaining Good laboratory practices
- Any other duties assigned by the supervisor
Qualification and skills required
- BS degree in, Micro Biology, Food Technology or a related field
- Computer literate and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent communication skills( written and oral)
- Ability to interact with colleagues and Management with tact and diplomacy
- 4 years’ experience in a similar field with hands-on knowledge in Microbiology
POSITION 6. TERRITORY SALES REPRESENTATIVES X 3
Reports To:
Sales Manager – General Trade
Job Overview:
The territory Sales Representative will be responsible for ensuring the business achieves and grows sales volumes and revenue targets set by Management in specified segments and builds and manages relationships with our customers through a partnering approach that adds value to the consumer and the group. The operational performance covers embedding the development of market opportunities, managing territory customer databases, driving commercialization, and customer focussed approaches.
Responsibilities and duties include
- Achieving and increasing sales volumes and revenue targets in specified segments
- Taking ownership of customer relationships in the assigned territory, through effective customer communication and collaboration with our logistics and finance team to ensure delivery is achieved against commitments.
- Identify and report on market trends and competitor activities
- Monitor and report on adherence to quality standards in the trade
- Ensure targets set by management are met at all times without fail
- To participate in all sales activities required by management, for example, sampling activities promotions.
- To ensure all products are available and visible on the market
- To always identify new sales leads and grow the business
Skills and Qualifications required
- Degree or Diploma in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration and Business management
- Four years of sales and Marketing experience ( experience in the FMCG industry will be an added advantage)
- Extensive Knowledge of Zambian Market behavior
- Good command of the English Language
- Computer literate proficient in Microsoft word and excel

POSITION 7. DEPOT SALES MANAGER (COPPERBELT)
Reports to
Group Sales And Marketing Manager
Job Overview
The depot will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations of the various depots across Central and Copperbelt Province and the promotion of sales in the respective depots, to increase sales of the company through various depots. The Depot sales Manage will liaise with customers and prospective customers to ensure that their needs are met and that high-quality service is maintained all across the depots.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Depot Sales Manager’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Implement the sales strategy and business plan for depot
- Map your market out and target new business to then grow and succeed targets
- Achieve and exceed sales targets
- Work with the Country Management Team, to deliver effective tender responses
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of the business and how we can tailor our ranges to clients’ needs
- Track performance of new accounts and promote additional spend
- Any Other task assigned by Management
Skills and Qualifications
- Sales and Marketing Degree or Equivalent
- Minimum of 3-5 years Sales and Marketing experience.
- Must be computer literate
- Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record for the past three years.
- Knowledge of principles and methods for promoting and selling products or services, including marketing strategies, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
POSITION 8: SHIPPING CLERK
Reports to
The Shipping Clerk will report to the Business Head
Job Overview
The shipping clerk will oversee and keep records of all shipping and receiving, She/he will be responsible for organizing, sorting, and transferring imports and exports. The shipping clerk will efficiently manage incoming and outgoing deliveries throughout the process from the beginning to the completion of the process.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Obtaining and processing orders, receiving deliveries, registering them and distributing packages within the company
- Maintaining the company’s stockroom through organizing, cleaning and cataloging items regularly
- Scheduling shipments and planning logistics to ensure that there is sufficient storage for incoming items and the staff to manage the shipments
- Preparing regular shipping and receiving reports for Management
- Adherence to environmental management and systems
- Analyses shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and resolves them
- Any other tasks assigned by management
