Zambeef Products PLC, a fast growing Zambian Agribusiness Company, invites applications from energetic and suitably qualified Zambian citizens to join the business in various capacities in the retail outlets as Butchery Assistants, Sales Persons, Block Men etc.
Reporting Lines
The positions shall report into the Butchery or Outlet Managers.
Duties and Responsibilities
The main duties and responsibilities of the above shall include among others any of the listed below:
- To assist in all butchery or sales outlet operations
- To efficiently operate tills or cash registers to the expected company standards
- To assist customers where necessary during their shopping in butcheries or sales outlets
- To assist in receiving/offloading merchandise meant for the butchery outlets
- To cut meats in specified cuts as directed by the superior or as demanded by customers
Qualifications and Experience
- Candidates wishing to be considered for the position must possess the following minimum qualifications:
- Full Grade 12 or Grade 9 certificate which shall already be verified by the Examiniations Council of Zambia
- Relevant verifiable certificates in Front Office Operations, Food Production, Computer Operations, Business Studies etc.
- Computer literacy will be an advantage
- Experience in a sales environment will be an added advantage though in-house training will be provided
