We are therefore inviting applications to fill the following vacant positions:

Production Manager x1

Contract: Permanent

Reporting to Manager, the chosen candidates will mainly be responsible for the following: –

  • Ensuring conformance to plant and process specifications and standards
  • Coordinating brewing and packaging logistics
  • Ensuring optimum capacity utilization of the plant
  • Leading brewing and packaging projects (NPD & Value projects)
  • Leading and driving Sustainable Development Targets
  • Managing budgeting process
  • Controlling fixed and variable costs
  • Controlling stocks/inventory
  • Ensuring that all team members are fully conversant with the
  • Manufacturing Way and Global Evaluation of Manufacturing (GEM)
  • Developing and driving implementation plans to progress maturity in the manufacturing way principles and practices
  • Ensuring that a healthy employee relations climate exists
  • Implementing performance management
  • Communicating effectively in the workplace
  • Facilitating effective team dynamics
  • Implementing talent management

 

This job is particularly suitable for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Full Grade 12 Certificate with Six (6) Credits.
  • BSc or Engineering degree (Mechanical / Electrical)
  • Ability to work odd hours under minimum supervision
  • Committed to quality, sober character and attentive to detail.
  • Physical fitness and hardworking
  • A team player with the ability to work shifts.
  • Computer literate added advantage
