We are therefore inviting applications to fill the following vacant positions:

QUALITY MANAGER – LUSAKA xl

Contract: Permanent

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the chosen candidate will mainly be responsible for the following: –

To ensure that all quality control procedures and activities in the plant and executed as per procedures. This covers the method, frequency and standards as specified in the manuals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensuring conformance to plant and process specifications and standards
  • Implement safety, health/environmental procedures and legislation
  • Manage Quality control governance for the brewery.
  • Inter-lab Error Control and Reference sample management
  • Conform to value chain requirements
  • Manage Quality Control administration
  • Optimize the availability of measuring equipment
  • Facilitate effective team dynamics
  • Maintain performance management system
  • Communicate effectively in the workplace

 

This job is particularly suitable for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Full Grade 12 Certificate with Six (6) Credits.
  • Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Microbiology or equivalent
  • 3 Years in Laboratory, Brewing or Packaging operations
  • Understanding of process control within a brewing/ process environment
  • Good understanding of the principles and practices of Manufacturing Excellence
  • Ability to work odd hours under minimum supervision
  • Committed to quality, sober character and attentive to detail.
  • Physical fitness and hardworking
  • A team player with the ability to work shifts.
  • Computer literate added advantage
