Programmes Officer
The main purpose of the Job:
To maintain a viable Loan Scheme and a sound Revolving Fund.
Key Responsibilities
- Carefully scrutinize Loan Application to ascertain the viability
- Offer professional advice to management on the suitability of Loan Applications Appraisal of the Loan Application
- Facilitate the Approval Process within the Trust and between Management and the Loans, Monitoring and Evaluation Committee
- Monitor the utilization of resources by borrowers.
- Facilitate Loan Repayments — especially those that are due.
- Enforce provisions of loan agreements
- Develop and implement an efficient but sensitive debt collection mechanism
- Coordinate the activities of the Trust
- Take the minutes during the Loans, Monitoring and Evaluation Committee meetings
- To do any other duties as may be assigned by the management
Qualifications and experience
- Relevant Bachelor’ s Degree [e.g. social sciences, disability etc.]
- Three [3] years minimum experience
- Computer literate
- Needed qualities and attributes
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of micro finance
