The Following Position are available for immediate appointments in SNV Zambia

1. Project Accountant-Lusaka (1)

Purpose

Execute daily financial and accounting duties. Coordinate and supervise staff, based on the relevant administrative, financial and HR guidelines and directions and in consultation with the Project Manager/s and Country Finance Officer, in order to enable the project/s to efficiently and effectively focus on the advisory accountabilities. To effectively support the Country Finance Manager in project finance administration and ensure continuity of operations in the absence of the supervisor.

Qualification, Work Experience and Professional Skills

• Grade Twelve (12) School certificate.
• Degree in Finance or related field and/or ACCA or CIMA professional qualification.
• At least 5 years post qualification work experience with reputable organizations (Donor funded NGOs preferred)
• Registered member of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants;
• Must have a dynamic and proactive approach with excellent communications and interpersonal skills;
• Computer literacy is a must

Working environment:

All office work with periodic field visits to Katete and other field offices.
