INVENTORY AND LOGISTICS COORDINATOR (Lusaka)

Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is able to take on the challenging above role to help a fast-growing startup to scale across Zambia. VITALITE is a social enterprise based in Lusaka which offers renewable energy products and services to Zambian households.

Summary

The Inventory and Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for organizing and maintaining an accurate tracking of all company products. He/she also maintains records of all inventory, monitors the receiving and consumption of products, ensures that the inventory system and actual size inventory match up, keeps all stock organized and notifies involved parties for replenishment needs.

Supervision activities

  • Keep track of the inventory at VITALITE Head Office and also at our regional hubs.
  • Ensuring the correct set up of solar home systems by supervising to the appropriate individuals.
  • Ensuring all company vehicles are clean at all times by delegating to the right employees.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve all product shortages, damages and returns.
  • Maintain reports and monitor all stock/ logistics records.
  • Prepare and maintain monitoring reports and other records.
  • Perform additional tasks and/or duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Resident of Lusaka (Lusaka Province)
  • 3+ years of logistics and inventory experience.
  • 3+ years of sales coordination/supervisory experience
  • Diploma or Degree in related field
  • 2 professional references
  • Manual driver’s license B (or higher)
  • Motorbike license (will be an added advantage

  • Full-time 1 year contract (Contract up for negotiation on an annual basis)
