EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced applicants to fill the following vacant position in the Internal Audit Unit.

INTERNAL AUDITOR – INFORMATION SYSTEMS (1) ECZ2 HQ (RE-ADVERTISED)

Reporting to the Principal Internal Auditor, the Internal Auditor – Information Systems will perform a detailed evaluation, internal control and audit reviews of computer information systems in ECZ, and develop audit software in order to provide the effectiveness of internal controls.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform general and application control reviews for simple to complex computer operating systems
  • Perform reviews of internal control procedures and security for systems under development and/or enhancements to current systems
  • Manage the audit software
  • Carry out other operational systems audit
  • Perform information systems control reviews including system development standards, operating procedures, system security, programming controls, communication controls, backup and disaster recovery, and system maintenance
  • Examining the functional and usable data on various computer networks and systems of the company to ensure that the information systems are processed properly
  • Managing the audit of software and hardware infrastructure
  • Conduct operational, compliance, and investigative audits as assigned
  • Carry out training needs assessment and recommend training

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • School Certificate or its equivalent
  • Bachelors’ Degree in ICT, Finance or a Professional Accounting or Audit qualification
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
  • Minimum of two (2) years relevant and proven work experience in a Computerized audit environment
