To provide a consistent and comprehensive service to Zambia and the Operations teams relating to Operational Risk, Security, Safety and Loss prevention in order to reach strategic business plans, by optimally managing a team of Stock Controllers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage stock losses
  • Evaluate integrity of all risk-related information by accurate financial recording
  • Optimising resource planning by leading and coaching Stock Controllers
  • Manage frequency of stock takes and address all deviations
  • Cost management/budget control
  • Risk analysis and risk mitigation at store level, DC and Country Office
  • Interface with country and operational management to ensure alignment
  • Manage audit and admin compliance
  • Ad hoc projects and duties

JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Grade 12 equivalent with Mathematics and Accounting
  • 5+ Years retail experience
  • Sound auditing knowledge and skills
  • Exposure to POS/Back-Office system will be an advantage
  • Computer literacy: MS Office – Intermediate
  • Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Zambia Citizen
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Zambia
