Alumni Volunteer Engagement Officer (Volunteer Role)

Responsibilities

• Support the existing network of return volunteers within Zambia to participate fully in global VSO initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in development studies or a related field
• An understanding of the activities of an alumni association is required
• Prior developmental work or voluntary experience is an added advantage
• Allowance and accommodation
• All volunteers have an allowance paid in local currency
• The allowance meets reasonable living expenses in country, but will not be enough to send money home
• VSO works with some of the poorest communities in the world which mean accommodation varies and will be basic
