Bonanza Resort invites dedicated, passionate, creative and committed candidates to join our dynamic team to support our finance and management team by completing routine clerical and accounting tasks. Preparing management reports, maintaining reports, and completing accounting duties for the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data
  • Prepare bills, invoices and bank deposits
  • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients’ billing issues and statements.
  • Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
  • Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in Pastel & ACCPAC SAGE Accounting packages
  • Knowledge in hotel accounting software i.e., OPERA, MICROS, Product management will be an added advantage.
  • Proven working experience as Accounts Payable Clerk
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
  • Grade twelve certificate
  • At least a certificate/diploma in Accounting/finance field (ZICA)
  • Must have three (3), traceable referees

Must have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar position
