Bonanza Resort invites dedicated, passionate, creative and committed candidates to join our dynamic team to support our finance and management team by completing routine clerical and accounting tasks. Preparing management reports, maintaining reports, and completing accounting duties for the company.

Responsibilities

  • Processing of cashbook transactions
  • Processing of Petty Cash transactions
  • Processing of Debit and Credit Card Transactions
  • Assist Team with adhoc tasks
  • Daily Cash Book reconciliations for all the cash books
  • Monthly reconciliation of petty cash and physical cash count
  • Update of Banking Confirmations and Bank Mandates
  • Proper filling of bank statements, bank recons and all documents

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in Pastel & ACCPAC SAGE Accounting packages
  • Proven working experience as Cash Book Clerk
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
  • Proficiency in English and in MS Office
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Grade twelve certificate
  • At least a certificate/diploma in Accounting/finance field (ZICA)
  • Must have three (3), traceable referees
  • Must have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar position
