Concern is implementing the Zambia Female Youths Livelihood and Nutrition Enhancement

Project (FYNEP) in collaboration with the World Bank with funding from the Japanese Social Development Fund. The Project Development Objective (PDO) is to improve access to livelihood opportunities and nutrition among selected female youths in targeted project areas. The project has 4 main components; a life skills curriculum to increase control and knowledge around life choices and nutrition, a livelihoods component focussed on agricultural livelihoods related to improved nutrition, a health component to directly support pre-conception nutrition and nutrition outreach. This project will benefit an estimated 24,600 persons in Limulunga and Kaoma Districts of Western Province and started on the 1st July 2015 with three-year duration.

Distribution Consultant (1 in Limulunga District)

Objectives of the Consultancy

To distribute inputs and implements to FYNEP project beneficiaries and qualifying stakeholders.  The distributions will be done in line with project rules and regulations.

Institutional and Organizational Arrangements

  • The Consultant will report to the Project Coordinator and work closely with the Project Support Officers, Planning Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, Community Development Facilitators, Community Health Volunteers

Consultant’s Qualifications

  • Certificate level training in any of the areas of in agriculture, rural development, nutrition, health, community development or related field
  • At least 3 years progressive field experience working with rural communities
  • Excellent facilitation skills and Good people’s skills
  • Ability to ride a motorcycle and must have a valid riders license
