Job Title: Officer, Occupational Health & Wellness

Responsibilties

  • Develop and maintain registers for tracking and follow up of occupational health cases. These include hearing loss and glasses
  • Update and maintain registers of back pain and restricted duties
  • Report back to the occupational health coordinator when red flags are noticed in the registers
  • Track and record the OH doctor’s recommendations for fitness to work that can be used by the rest of the team (safety and industrial hygiene) for feedback in the occupational health meetings
  • Follow up with the clinic’s OH department and keep track of attendance and missed appointments
  • Track and keep record of periodic medicals and the next review date
  • Communicate with the HR officer dedicated to OH in order to optimise scheduling and rescheduling of missed appointments

Qualifications

  • G12 school certificate
  • High standard of computer literacy
  • Experience
  • Over 2 years work experience in an administrative role
  • Experience working in the health sector is an advantage
