Innovate General Insurance, is looking for a suitably qualified, experienced and result oriented persons to fill the following position:-

BRANCH MANAGER (2) NDOLA & KITWE

Purpose of the Job

Management of the sales and processes for all insurance policies issued by the company, providing direction and training to all staff on insurance matters, compliance with regulatory/financial requirements, setting/managing insurance deals with underwriters, claims and other issues relating to insurance business.

Statement of Main Accountabilities

  • Work with senior management to achieve company goals and targets
  • Work with all the teams to ensure all regulatory matters are adhered to
  • Deal with local agents and other outlets, operation centres to ensure full understanding of the insurance process & procedures, sales, customer service and claims management
  • Main point of contact with all third parties relating to insurance in the province/region
  • Provide support and insurance education in the region
  • Ensure that branch staff own and manage customer queries and complaints by taking ownership and resolving in a timely manner. Act as the escalation point for their unresolved queries and complaints.
  • Motivate staff and ensure they are recognized through Innovate General recognition schemes.
  • Create an empowering environment for all branch staff, encouraging individual ownership, innovation and initiative.
  • Manage branch human resources functions and escalate all staff issues to the headquarters.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Grade 12 with credits in Mathematics and English
  • First Degree in a business field
  • Advanced Diploma in Insurance
  • At least five (5) years working experience
