NICO Insurance Zambia Ltd Recruiting: Chief Finance Officer – July/August 2017

Our client, the third largest general insurance company, by revenue, in Zambia, seeks to recruit a suitably qualified, versatile, results-oriented, focused, decisive and highly credible individual to fill the vacant position of:

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer at Company level and the Group Chief Finance Officer at Group Level, the Chief Finance Officer will be responsible for directing and controlling the financial administration function of the organization
• He or she will also monitor the implementation of budgets as well as provide guidance to the Chief Executive Officer and the Board on financial and statutory compliance matters

Qualifications

• Possess a full ACCA, CIMA or ZICA qualification
• Have a Bachelor of Accountancy Degree or equivalent
• Be a registered and practicing member of ZICA in good standing
• Possess a minimum of ten years experience in a senior responsible position, of which at least three years are in a General Insurance Company
• Have demonstrable Leadership, Team Playing, Clear thinking skills
• Be a highly analytical strategist
• Have a demonstrated command of specialist accounting software packages
