Nkana Water and Sewerage Company is a Commercial Water Utility Company providing quality Water and Sanitation Services to its customers in Kitwe, Kalulushi and Chambishi. In its quest to improve service delivery, the Company seeks to employ suitable, highly motivated and goal-oriented professionals to fill the following vacancies:

INTERNAL AUDITOR (X1)

Job Purpose

To audit the Company’s internal systems, policies, procedures, and operations in order to strengthen controls and checks as well as efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Accountabilities:

  • Assisting in the preparation Of specific audit assignment plans and audit programmes
  • Performing audit tests on the internal controls in accounting, administrative and operational procedures.
  • Identify and evaluate risks and internal control deficiencies and provide recommendations.
  • Ensuring that the audit findings are properly documented.
  • Preparing draft audit reports detailing audit findings.

Qualifications/Experience

  • Full Grade Twelve Certificate
  • A university degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field
  • Must have full ACCA/CIMA/CA
  • Experience in Projects Audit will be an added advantage
  • Must have at least two years relevant experience

Person Specification

  • Be computer literate and familiar with accounting packages
  • Have good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be a team player
  • Must have Supervisory Skills
