TRAINEE TECHNOLOGISTS (X2) ON DEVELOPMENT

Reports to:  District Supervisor/District Manager

Job Purpose

• Operation of water supply and sewerage facilities in the entire distribution network in compliance with regulating guidelines.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

•  Responsible for maintenance of water and sewerage networks and associated facilities.
• Operate to maintain and monitor water and sewerage networks according to operation guidelines.
• Carry out routine inspections of water and sewerage networks.
• Maintain water and sewerage Network records.
• Carry out any other duties your supervisor may assign to you.

Qualifications and Experience

• Full Grade twelve (12) School Certificate with at least five (5) ‘O’ level credits including English language and Mathematics;
• Diploma in Civil/Environmental Engineering/Water supply Operations.
• At least two (02) years post qualification experience.
• Members of EIZ
• Knowledge in GIS and water and  wastewater design software shall be added advantage
