EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Occupational Health and Safety Institute located in Kitwe, established under the Occupational Health and Safety Act No 36 of 2010 is looking a suitably qualified and experienced Zambians to fill the following positions:

LABORATORY TECHNOLOGIST (2)

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

To carry out effectively and timely the diagnostic examination of specimen in order to reach an accurate diagnosis.

Key Duties and Responsibility

a. To carry out timely and partly the collection, handling end storage of specimen in order to avoid degeneration
b. To carry timely and proper storage of reagents in order to ascertain the diagnosis and maintain potency
c. To carry out effectively standard operation procedures in order to adhere to set standards
d. To carry out timely and accurately updating of Registers in order to maintain a correct record of specimen and results
e. Updates the laboratory database timely and accurately in order to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of information

Qualifications/Experience

Full Grade 12 Certificate: Degree in Bio Medial Science or equivalent; Able to communicate effectively in English: Registered Member of Health Professions Council of Zambia.
